At St. Louis Antique Mall, we are pleased to host PJ Comics and Collectibles, a perfect comic outlet for new or experienced comic collectors.
Eric from PJ Comics brings in new back issues on a regular basis, many priced at $1, $2 and $5. Whether you dig DC superheroes or you’re into Marvel – or a little of both – with 30,000 comics in stock at any one time, you’re sure to fill in your collection.
The thing we enjoy about having Eric in the shop is that this is not your typical antique mall assortment of independents from the 90s, poorly bagged if at all. These are quality comics, all bagged and boarded, with plenty of treasures to hunt and find.
Every few days, he posts a comic book “claim sale” that we often share on our FB page. This is an opportunity to get some real goodies to add to your collection, which will then be held at the mall for you to pick up at your leisure.
He also hosts regular events at the mall and will bring in high dollar silver, bronze and copper age keys for your perusal and drooling enjoyment.
We are committed to introducing new and young comic book collectors to the hobby. As much as we would like our children to get a head start on their reading and other skills, it might surprise you to learn that studies have demonstrated that comics are an excellent source of increased vocabulary and reading skills. But – aside from that – they’re just fun.
